Education and PSHE Lessons

Through our PSHE curriculum, we aim to give students the tools to make safe, informed choices. Students learn how to manage risk and the characteristics of healthy relationships. We teach them about staying safe online, how to make good financial decisions and the importance of fundamental British Values like tolerance and respect for the law. Students participate in lessons about mental health, learning how to manage stress and develop positive coping mechanisms, they engage in relationship education, where they learn about healthy relationships, consent, and communication. We also hold special themed weeks such as Online Safety Week, where students take part in workshops focused on staying safe in the digital world and Ignite Weeks where students hear from visitors and organisations who can support them.

Our whole school learning journey is below- if you any questions about what your child is learning then please contact us for more information.
